This forty-seven mother of two grown children came to my Brookline, MA office from Rhode Island to discuss tummy tuck and breast lift. Her daughter is a patient of mine who is pleased with her breast augmentation Boston. This patient was interested in tightening the shape of her abdomen and lifting her breasts without changing her cup size.
Abdominoplasty and mastopexy generally can be performed safely at a single operation – this is one version of a so-called Mommy Makeover. In this patient’s pre-operative photographs, notice the scar in the middle of her lower abdomen. It is common for the skin to pooch around this scar over time resulting in a cleft of the lower abdomen. The old scar is removed and the cleft treated with an abdominoplasty, as can be seen in her post-operative photographs.
This patient spent one night in the hospital following her surgery and returned home the next day. She was able to return to light activity within a few days of her surgery and able to return to full activities within a few weeks of her surgery. Her post-operative photographs show an improved shape of her abdomen and breasts. She is very pleased with her Boston cosmetic surgery.
