This patient is a fifty year old woman who works as a registered nurse came to my Brookline, MA office from Boston’s North Shore to discuss abdominoplasty and breast augmentation Boston. She maintains an active lifestyle and is physically fit. However, she wanted larger and more youthful looking breasts as well as a tight abdomen.
During our cosmetic surgery Boston consultations we discussed both tummy tuck and breast augmentation and that these operations could be done safely at the same time for her. Combining breast augmentation with tummy tuck is one version of a “Mommy Makeover,” which is very popular among women once they have finished having children.
During surgery I did a full tummy tuck which involves tightening the sit-up muscles as well as removing excess skin and tightening the abdomen. Her breast augmentation Boston was done through an inframammary incision. I placed Mentor smooth round Moderate Profile implants beneath the chest wall muscle and filled the right implant with 375cc of saline and the left implant with 400cc of saline.
She spent one night in the hospital and returned home the day after surgery. She was able to resume light activities the first few days following surgery and resume her normal activities a few weeks following her surgery. Her incisions will continue to fade with time. She is very please with her Boston cosmetic surgery.
