Details for Case #44

This thirty-two old mother of two children came to my Brookline, MA office from Boston’s North Shore to discuss improvement of the contour of her abdomen. She was dissatisfied with the shape of her lower abdomen and the tethering of her Cesarean section scar. She had returned to her pre-pregnancy weight; she kept q very busy lifestyle.

During our discussions about tummy tuck Boston I discussed with her the constricting of her Cesarean section scar and how that would be treated with an abdominoplasty. In addition a full abdominoplasty would tighten the skin of her abdomen as well as tighten her abdominal wall muscles which were separated by pregnancy. I also did a small amount of liposuction of the flanks (love-handle area). I also did a mastopexy at the time of her abdominoplasty.

This patient spent one night in the hospital after her Boston plastic surgery. She was able to begin resuming light activities the day after her surgery. She was back to full normal activities within a few weeks of her surgery. The surgical swelling began to decrease two to three days after surgery and had largely disappeared a few weeks later. She was extremely please with the results of her tummy tuck Boston.
