This patient is a thirty-seven year old mother of four children who came to me Brookline, MA office from Worcester, MA to discuss abdominoplasty. She is a very petite, physically fit woman. She was interested in removing the excess skin from her abdomen and tightening her abdominal wall muscles that had been stretched apart during her pregnancies.
During our consultations we discussed her expectations from her tummy tuck Boston. She knew that an abdominplasty would improve the shape of her tummy and remove the skin that hung over her pants. Recovery from an abdominoplasty takes a few weeks. The swelling after this cosmetic surgery Boston begins to resolve a few days after the surgery and is gone several weeks following the surgery. This patient stayed in the hospital one night following her surgery and returned home the following day. The thin drain placed beneath the skin to collect fluid after the surgery is easily managed by patients at home. The drain is removed in the office several days after surgery. As seen in the patients pre-operative and post-operative photographs, the shape of the abdomen is greatly improved following abdominoplasty. The results of abdominoplasty are permanent.
