This thirty two year old woman from north of Boston came to my Brookline office to discuss cosmetic surgery Boston. Her goal from breast augmentation surgery was to have very full and round breasts.
During our breast augmentation Boston consultation we discussed the implant volume that would fill her breast soft tissue and that she would need to choose an implant larger than the estimated breast tissue fill volume. I estimated her soft tissue fill volume to be 200cc and she chose 375cc implants so that her Boston plastic surgery would accomplish her goals. Her High Profile saline implants were placed beneath the muscle using an peri-areolar incision and filled to 375cc.
Her rapid recovery from her breast augmentation is typical for my patients who typically return to normal daily activities the day after surgery. Because I create the implant pocket with surgical precision rather than pulling and tearing the muscle, I do not use drains or tight wraps after surgery. My patients are allowed to shower the day after surgery and encouraged to go out from the house the day after surgery. I have many go out to dinner, to kids soccer games or even host a baby shower the day after their breast augmentation Boston surgery!
