This patient is a 33 year old professional from Boston who came to my Brookline office to discuss breast augmentation. She is a tall slender woman who wanted an augmentation of approximately two cup sizes. She came to my office on referral from a friend pleased with her breast augmentation in Boston.
During our Boston cosmetic surgery consultations we discussed her soft tissue dynamics and the look of her breasts following breast augmentation. In order to achieve a full upper breast and the enhancement she wanted, she decided upon a 400cc augmentation. She chose saline implants which were to be placed underneath the chest wall muscle. She spent a great deal of time deciding between the inframammary incision and the periareolar incision, both of which would have worked well for her. She ultimately chose the periareolar incision.
In the operating room I placed Mentor High Profile saline implants and filled them to 400cc. As seen in her post operative photographs these implants give her a full, round, youthful breast. Her incisions have healed very nicely and are inconspicuous.
Her recovery from her breast augmentation Boston was rapid and she quickly returned to her active lifestyle. She is happy that she decided to have cosmetic surgery and believes that her surgery has had a positive impact on her life.
