This patient is a 21 year old woman with whom I met in my Brookline office to discuss breast augmentation Boston. She is a petite woman with an active lifestyle. She was interested in full round breasts following her Boston cosmetic surgery.
During our consultations we used implant sizers to mimic the look that she could expect after her breast augmentation Boston, we discussed how her soft tissues would sccomodate her implants and we reviewed hundreds of pre and post operative photographs of my breast implant patients. She chose to have the incision placed underneath the breast and chose 350cc implants. We used Mentor High Profile saline implants for her breast augmentation Boston.
At surgery I placed the saline implants beneath the chest wall muscle and filled each implant with 350cc of saline. As shown in her post operative photographs, we have achieved her goal of full round breasts. She is happy with the cup size of her breasts after her surgery; the high profile implants are able to give her the full, round upper breast that she wanted. Today’s smooth round implants placed beneath the muscle have a very low leak rate and a low rate of capsular contracture which helps achieve this type of post operative appearance without using round textured implants.
