This patient is a 29 year old woman from suburban Boston who came to my Brookline office to discuss breast augmentation Boston. She is a busy professional woman who liked the shape of her breasts but wanted them fuller. She did not want the breast augmentation to give her a bulging upper breast.
During our Boston cosmetic surgery consultations she chose a 350cc augmentation. Implant sizers help mimic the fullness patients can expect following surgery. Reviewing pre and post operative photographs with patients helps visualize how the breasts will change with surgery. She chose an inframammary incision which is placed in the lower fold of the breast. She chose saline implants to be placed underneath the chest muscle.
At surgery I developed the implant pocket under the pectoralis muscle. The inframammary incision provides excellent visualization for accurate pocket creation. The Mentor Moderate Plus Profile implants were filled to 350cc on saline.
As seen in the post operative photographs, these appropriately size implants look quite natural. Note that the well healed inframammary incision is inconspicuous at the bottom of the breast. This patient had a rapid recovery and was quickly fully back to her active lifestyle and full time job. She is quite pleased with the results of her breast augmentation Boston.
