Details for Case #4

This patient is a 23 year old student from north of Boston who came to see me in my Brookline office to discuss breast augmentation in Boston. She had recently lost thirty pounds through diet and exercise. While she was pleased with her overall improvement following weight loss, she was not happy that her breasts decreased a cup size. Her goal from surgery was to increase her breast size by approximately one cup while keeping a natural appearance of the breasts.

During our consultation at my Boston cosmetic surgery practice, this patient and I discussed what size and style of implant would accomplish her goals, we discussed the placement of the implant and discussed a crescent mastopexy on the right side to address her pre-operative nipple height asymmetry. She and I ultimately decided upon a 325cc augmentation using saline filled implants placed under the chest muscle through a peri-areolar incision. We decided against adding the extra scar on the right breast to lift the right nipple.

In the operating room I placed Mentor smooth round Moderate Plus Profile implants underneath the pectoralis major muscle. The implants are filled with 325cc of saline. The breast augmentation alone improved the nipple height asymmetry without the additional scar of a mastopexy.

This patient had a rapid recovery and achieved her desired results. If you are interested in learning more about breast augmentation in Boston, request a consultation at my convenient Brookline office.
