This thirty year old mother of two children from the Boston, MA area came to my Brookline, MA office to discuss breast augmentation and abdominoplasty. Her younger child is elementary school aged and she has no plans for more children. As seen in her pre-operative photographs, she is not overweight; however, the loss off abdominal skin elasticity prevents hr from achieving a tight, toned abdomen. In addition, she lost volume from her breasts following her pregnancies and nursing.
During our Boston cosmetic surgery consultations we discussed performing breast augmentation Boston at the same time as her tummy tuck – a so called “Mommy Makeover.” Breast augmentation and abdominoplasty can generally be performed at the same operation quite safely; I have many patients in my practice who have chosen to combine these two surgeries. This patient underwent a saline implant breast augmentation Boston of 390cc on the right and 420cc on the left and a full abdominoplasty. Her breast implants were placed under the chest wall muscle using an inframammary incision. She stayed overnight in the hospital and went home the day following surgery. She recovered from her Mommy Makeover quickly and is very pleased with her results.
